At the beginning of this intriguing and gripping psychological crime series, a 12-year-old girl goes missing from her mother’s birthday party. Eight-year-old Diego starts having strange visions that set alarm bells ringing for police captain Romain and his psychologist companion Sarah. The things Diego sketches and describes have a disturbing similarity to other unsolved cases the police didn’t think were linked, suggesting they might have a serial killer on their hands. If that’s the case, how is Diego connected to the killer? And more importantly, what is triggering these visions?

Diego also seems to be somehow tied to Sarah’s past, but post-traumatic shock has wiped her memory. The series takes us deep into the fascinating world of mediums, showing how communicating with spirits can impact people’s lives. As it explores these unusual powers, it also underscores the challenges of being “different.” Because no matter how gifted he may be, no eight-year-old wants to be different from other kids; he just wants to fit in.

The new prime-time event series from TF1, part of the official selection at Canneseries 2022.

A child's visions might hold the key
